Quick Checks for Genie Openers
- Confirm the opener has power: the plug, the outlet and the breaker.
- Check the safety sensors near the floor. If an indicator light is off or blinking, clear anything in the beam and gently wipe the lenses.
- If only the remote stopped working, try a new battery. If the remotes stopped after a power outage, they may need to be programmed again.
