Quick Checks Before You Call
A few safe checks can save you a visit, or help us arrive with the right part:
- Make sure the opener is plugged in and the outlet works. A tripped GFCI outlet or breaker is a common cause of a dead opener.
- Look at the small lights on the safety sensors near the floor. If one is off or blinking, clear the beam and gently wipe the lenses.
- Check the wall control. Many LiftMaster wall controls have a lock feature that turns off the remotes.
- If only the remote stopped working, replace its battery.
